Infosmart is a full-service multidisciplinary research and consultancy firm with Headquarters in Dar es Salaam that was founded in 2015 following the vision of the founding partners to provide suitable information solutions required to sustain the ever-growing economy of the country and attain social wellbeing of the citizen. In this regard Services provided by Infosmart include Monitoring and Evaluation, project designing Public health research, behavioral research, market research, public policy development, and assessment. Infosmart has a team of experienced and well-organized personnel that help in providing services in diverse sectors, in order to ensure services provided to our customers adhere to international standards and with maximum satisfaction.
For more than four years now, Infomart has worked in different health and human rights projects including HIV, Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) Gender-Based Violence (GBV) and Violence Against Children (VAC), and has empowered front-line data collectors through trainings and workshops.

Firm Experience in consultancies
- August 2019-To date: contracted by Pact Tanzania to develop a training package on gender-transformative programming, to consolidate and develop a standardized gender training package for the Kizazi Kipya project to be used by Kizazi Kipya staffs and COSs. The developed materials will be used to capacitate Kizazi Kipya staff and engaged CSOs on how to evaluate their programs from a gender lens and improve the ability to apply gender transformative approaches from program designing, implementation, and monitoring with evidence-based approaches.
- July 2019- to date: contracted by Plan International Tanzania to conduct a baseline survey for a project aiming at Strengthening civil society to end child marriage in Kilombero District, Morogoro. The baseline study measures the status of the project outcome and selected output indicators that will be set as a benchmark in measuring the impacts of the project. Data gathered will also be used to adjust the project strategy and activity plan.
- December 2018 to September 2019 – Provide Technical support to ICAP on external monitoring of Adolescent Girls and young women (AGYW) components of service delivery. Infosmart as external monitoring firms are supporting ICAP on mid-term assessments for DREAMS interventions in Muleba District Council (DC) and national-level Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW) related service delivery components.
- September 2018– Current working with Ifakara Health Institute to conduct stakeholder Analysis for Health Financing Strategy. The task aim at stakeholder’s analysis by documenting challenges, weaknesses, Strength lessons and opportunities on the Health Financing Strategy. The focus is on the areas of the strategy which are currently implemented and the analysis of the expected reforms on the introduction of Mandatory Single National Health Insurance.
- September 2018 – working with ICPA in the development of DREAMS key materials and intervention coordination. Infosmart Provided high-level technical support in the development of a platform for the DREAMS implementation in Muleba District Council including the development of key materials and coordination for the planned DREAMS implementation.
- Worked with DAMAX solution to conduct End term Evaluation for Safe Motherhood and Fistula Project, Amref Health Africa, Led end-line evaluation of the project to assess changes brought about by implementing the safe motherhood and fistula project in contributing to a sustained reduction of maternal mortality and morbidity in seven regions of Tanzania. The studies involved more than 10 focus group discussions and five Focus Group discussions (FGD) with service providers, fistula clients, regional/district health management teams and project staff.
- January 2017 – working with FHI360 to develop Family Planning Costed Implementation Plan (FPCIP II); Develop NFPCIP II development. The task involved provide technical guidance on the process, including making CIP-specific tools and information available to FP stakeholders
- November 2016– working with WHO on HIV differentiated service delivery models for specific populations and settings: Pregnant and breastfeeding women, children, adolescents and key populations;: Assess current evidence, policy and practice in applying inclusive differentiated service models for ART delivery to specific populations— pregnant women, children, adolescents and key populations; and to assess how these might be implemented in different epidemic settings including in low prevalence and concentrated epidemics.
- Co-consultancy with -DAMAX Solutions Ltd June 2015, CARE/Tanzania contracted DAMAX to undertake a final evaluation of its CIDA-funded Reproductive and Maternal Health Project (Tabora Adolescent and Safe Motherhood Project). The project was focusing on improving quality and access to RHMNCH services. It also focused on improving the utilization of CPAC and addressing women inequalities including GBV.
